Complaints about goods – Protecting statutory rights over defective goods
Dear Mr. Michael,
I should like to put on the written record that this morning I returned the Grassguzzler lawnmower bought from you three weeks ago. This ceased to function the third time, I used it.
As you assured me that a minor repair would rectify the fault, I have left the machine with you for collection on the morning of 6 April. However, if the repair is not completed to my complete satisfaction, I reserve my statutory rights to a refund of the full purchase price.
Yours Sincerely,
K.L. Whoopher (Mrs.)
